Common questions

How do I log a symptom?

From the Today tab, tap the large + Log Symptom button. Select your symptoms, rate intensity, log your mood and sleep, add any notes, and tap Save. The log appears in your Recent Logs list immediately.

How do I restore my subscription on a new phone?

Open Pause → Settings → tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed into the same Apple ID that subscribed, your access will restore automatically.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → find Pause and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Why isn't my sleep data importing from Apple Health?

Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Pause → make sure Sleep Analysis is toggled on. If it's already on, open the Health app and confirm your sleep data is being recorded there first.

How do I change my daily reminder time?

Open Pause → Settings → Daily Reminder → toggle it on and select your preferred time.

How do I generate a doctor report?

Tap the Report tab, choose your date range, and tap Generate PDF. The PDF opens in iOS share sheet — you can AirDrop it, email it, save it to Files, or print it directly. This feature requires an active Pause subscription.

How do I delete my data?

All your data is stored locally on your device. To delete it, simply delete the Pause app from your iPhone. To delete individual log entries, swipe left on any entry in the Recent Logs list and tap Delete.

Does my data sync across my devices?

Yes — if you have iCloud enabled on both devices and are signed into the same Apple ID, your logs sync automatically via CloudKit at no extra cost. No Pause account required.

Is Pause a medical device?

No. Pause is a personal tracking tool to help you understand your own patterns. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always work with your doctor or gynecologist for medical decisions.

How do I request a refund?

App Store refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and submit a refund request. If you have trouble, email us and we'll help.
