Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

Pause is a personal health tracking app. Your symptom data is yours — it lives on your device and nowhere else. We built Pause to help you understand your body, not to collect data about it.

What we collect

Nothing on our servers. Pause does not transmit, store, or share any personal or health information with Pinnacle Path LLC or any third party. There are no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising frameworks, and no network requests that carry your data.

Where your data lives

All symptom logs, mood entries, sleep records, and profile information you enter are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs across your own Apple devices via CloudKit — using your personal iCloud account. Pinnacle Path never has access to this data at any point.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, Pause reads your sleep analysis data from Apple Health to auto-fill nightly sleep hours. This data is read-only — Pause never writes to Apple Health and never uploads Health data anywhere. If you deny Health access, Pause works fully without it.

In-app subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit 2. Pinnacle Path never sees your payment details, billing information, or Apple ID. We receive only an anonymous, encrypted transaction confirmation from Apple.

Notifications

Pause uses local notifications only — scheduled on your device, delivered on your device. We do not use push notification services or any remote messaging infrastructure.

Third-party SDKs

None. Pause has zero third-party frameworks, tracking libraries, crash reporters, or analytics integrations.

Children

Pause is intended for adults. It does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13, and complies with COPPA and GDPR-K requirements by collecting nothing at all.

Not medical advice

Pause is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your symptoms and treatment options.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Pause after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
