Privacy Policy

Lumen is a personal Bible-habit app. It is designed to keep your activity on your own device. During normal use, your reading progress, journal notes, and reflections never leave your iPhone — which means we are architecturally unable to read what you write.

What we collect

Nothing personal by default. Lumen does not require an account, and we do not collect names, emails, or contact information unless you choose to email us for support. The app works fully offline.

Your reflections and progress

Your streaks, completed sessions, memorized verses, badges, and any journal notes you write are stored exclusively in your device's local storage. We do not transmit, store, or have access to this content on any server.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device using UNUserNotificationCenter. We do not run a notification server, and no data leaves your device when a reminder fires.

Friends & leaderboard

The optional friends leaderboard works through invite links you choose to share. If you use it, only the minimal data needed to show a shared leaderboard (such as a display name and your daily-completion count) is exchanged. You can hide or leave the leaderboard at any time. If you never use it, no such data is shared.

Purchases

Lumen Plus subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. PinnaclePath never sees your payment details. We receive only the anonymous subscription status needed to unlock Plus features on your device.

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, Apple may include Lumen's local data in your encrypted device backup. This is controlled by you in iOS Settings, not by us. PinnaclePath has no access to iCloud or your backup.

Third-party SDKs

Lumen has no advertising frameworks and no third-party analytics SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.

Children

Lumen is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects no personal data by default, it does not build profiles of any user.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and note it in the App Store release notes.
