Common questions

Where is my data stored?

Everything stays on your device. Reflections, prayer lists, and notes are never sent anywhere. We have no server and no way to read your content.

Will I lose my data if I delete the app?

Yes — because everything is stored locally, deleting the app removes that data. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, Apple may preserve it as part of your device backup. Before deleting, go to iOS Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup to confirm your device backs up.

How do I restore my purchase on a new phone?

Open Quiet Prayer → Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase. It will restore automatically.

How do I turn off daily reminders?

iOS Settings → Notifications → Quiet Prayer → toggle Allow Notifications off. Or go to Settings inside the app and disable the reminder from there.

The verse isn't loading. What's wrong?

Daily verses are bundled with the app and don't require an internet connection. If nothing is showing, try force-closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, email us with your device model and iOS version.

Can I export my reflections?

Not yet — but it's on our roadmap. Email us if this is important to you and it'll help us prioritize it.

I want a refund.

App Store refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and request a refund. If Apple denies it and you have a legitimate concern, email us.
