How to play

How do I move a unit?

Tap any of your blue units to select it. Reachable tiles will highlight in blue. Tap any highlighted tile to move the unit there. Each unit can move once per turn.

How do I attack?

After selecting a unit, if any enemy (red) unit is within attack range, those tiles will highlight in red. Tap the enemy unit to attack it. Each unit can move and attack once per turn, or do just one of the two.

What are the unit types?

Soldier (S) — moves 3 tiles, attacks adjacent (range 1), deals 30 damage. Best for aggressive pushes.
Archer (A) — moves 2 tiles, attacks at range 2, deals 20 damage. Best for hitting enemies before they close in.
Tank (T) — moves 1 tile, attacks adjacent (range 1), deals 40 damage. Slow but hits hardest.

How do I win?

Eliminate all three enemy (red) units. If all your blue units are eliminated first, it's a defeat. Tap Play Again for a fresh map.

How does the AI work?

Each AI unit moves one step closer to your nearest unit every turn, then attacks if in range. After all AI units have moved, it's your turn again.

Can I play offline?

Yes — Frontline is fully offline. No internet connection required, ever.

How do I start a new game?

Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the game screen to return to the main menu, then tap New Game for a fresh randomly generated map.

How do I request a refund?

App Store refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and submit a refund request. If you have trouble, email us and we'll help.
